Canadian Beauty Brands Annabelle and Marcelle Cosmetics Review and Swatches. I'm not sure if I have any Canadian readers but I recently received quite a few products from a great brand you should check out if you're in the Canada area. I don't know about you but when I travel whether it's in the country or out of it I love to try new makeup brands so if you're looking for something new and you're in Canada be sure to check out these brands. My full review and swatches below.
From Annabelle Cosmetics I received the custom quad magnetic compact, which is really cool since you can customize it with any eyeshadows from the brand. Pretty much like the four quad from Mac. I love the graffiti style packaging so chic! The eyeshadows that came with the quad were buff naked, sugar dust, gold digger, and metallic meltdown. Let me just say that I love how pigmented their eyeshadows are. They showed up beautifully on my brown skin and they are so long lasting. Even the pink hued shade held up throughout the day.

With Marcelle Cosmetics I was excited to try their plumping gloss since overtime it's suppose to give you fuller lips. When you first apply it their is no plumping feeling ( which I hate with plumping products) and it feels very gently on the lips. Smooth and not sticky. The plumping gloss is also very moisturizing which is not very common with plumping products.
The last thing that I receive was their Mineral eyeshadow in color Terra. I loved the idea behind this product since you apply the mineral shadow with the a sponge brush that is located at the top of the product. When first applying it with the brush it was very hard to use and there wasn't much color payoff since I wasn't fully able to get much product out of the tube. Instead I used my eyshadow brush and you could get way more color payoff with the use of a brush. Other than the bad sponge brush applicator I loved the mineral eyeshadow and it was very pigmented and lasted for hours.
Overall I love both brands and hopefully one day They'll be available in the states, or at least available for purchase online. Until then you can look below to drool over my swatches. Annabelle cosmetics

Mineral eye shadows and very good...but the method of application is different and has to be mastered, the after effects on the skin are huge.
