Smashbox Reign Eye Shadow Palette Swatches and Review ( Majesty). The Smashbox Reign collection came out earlier this fall and while the eyeshadow palettes wore gorgeous I didn't want to spend $42 on one eyeshadow palette. So I decided not to purchase it. I'm so glad I did because now Smashbox has lowered the price to $29. Much more reasonable. I've never had any Smashbox eyeshadows before but these were gorgeous. Highly pigmented, and go on the eye very smooth. The colors are also perfect for the fall season and very in trend.

I thought this was a neat idea. But when I swatched the matte shadows in the store, it was very dry and not a very good color pay off either. Maybe the sample was dried out? I'm not sure.
I wasn't a big fan of this smashbox item. But I did actually pick up the lip color pencil & liner from the same Reign Majesty collection in Current... I really like that!
Good post! :)

the matte section was a bit drying and hard to pick up, but with the shadow insurance underneath it was a bit easier. The shimmer side is gorgeous and much easier to work with than the matte.
